One Laptop per Child (OLPC) XO Laptop 360 Degree View
The OLPC XO laptop will be available very soon to people who've been waiting to participate in this worthwhile endeavor. One Laptop Per Child has announced that it will start selling the XO Laptop through Amazon.com on November 17.
You will be able to purchase the XO Laptop through the Amazon Give One Get One program where a buyer will donate $400 for 2 XO laptops, one of which is sent to a child in a developing country.
The OLPC XO laptop is a low cost laptop computer that will be given to kids in developing countries around the world, to help them have availability to knowledge, and have the ability to explore, experiment and express themselves in an excitingly new and technological way.
The XO laptop has been developed by the One Laptop per Child (OLPC) social welfare organization. The OLPC XO laptop is made by a Taiwanese computer company called Quanta Computer.
Only a Linux-based XO laptops will be available through Amazon. No windows based XO laptops. And the XO laptop will only be sold at Amazons U.S. storefront.
